Coaxial speakers combine the tweeter and woofer in a single unit. They are simpler to install, less expensive, and work well in rear fill positions where critical listening is less important. Sound Deadening — The Critical Companion

Installing quality speakers in an untreated door is like putting premium gas in a car with a clogged air filter. Door panels vibrate, rattle, and leak air — all of which work against your speakers. We apply Dynamat or equivalent damping material to the inner door skin, creating a sealed acoustic chamber. The improvement is dramatic: tighter bass, cleaner mids, reduced road noise, and zero panel rattle at any volume.
