Hunter HawkEye Alignment Equipment — We use the same Hunter HawkEye alignment system found in dealerships. High-definition cameras and laser targets measure camber, caster, and toe to hundredths of a degree on all four corners. This precision is critical for lowered cars where small angle changes cause big tire wear problems. The HawkEye system shows us exactly where your alignment sits and lets us dial in custom specs with confidence.

Why Lowered Cars Need Special Alignment — When you lower a sedan, the suspension geometry changes. The lower control arms angle upward, pushing the top of the tire inward (negative camber). On the rear axle, this effect is pronounced — 1.5 inches of drop can push rear camber to -2.5 degrees or more, well beyond what causes accelerated inner tire wear. The front suspension is affected too, though many strut-based front suspensions have less camber change than the rear. Without correcting these angles, a lowered sedan will eat through the inner edges of rear tires in 5,000 to 10,000 miles.

Camber Kit Installation — We install camber correction hardware from SPC, Megan Racing, and Hardrace. Rear camber arms (also called camber links) are the most common correction for lowered sedans — they replace the fixed factory rear links with adjustable units that let us dial camber back to a safe range. Front camber correction options include adjustable ball joints, camber bolts, and adjustable top plates on coilovers. We measure your alignment before and after lowering to determine exactly which camber kits are needed for your application and drop height.

Custom Alignment Specs — We do not just plug in factory specs on a lowered car. Factory specs assume stock ride height and suspension geometry. On a lowered sedan, factory specs are either unachievable or result in suboptimal tire wear and handling. We calculate target specs based on your specific drop height, the suspension components installed, and how you drive the car. For most lowered sedans, we target -1.0 to -1.5 degrees of rear camber (compared to stock -0.5 to -1.0), zero to minimal rear toe, and near-stock front camber of -0.5 to -0.8 degrees. These specs balance tire longevity, straight-line stability, and cornering grip.

Coilover and Air Suspension Alignment — Coilovers with adjustable camber plates give us even more control during alignment. We adjust the plates directly to achieve precise camber settings without additional camber kits in many cases. For air-suspension vehicles, we set alignment specs at the owner's daily-driving ride height — the height you will be at 90% of the time — not at aired-out show height.
