The Chevy Silverado 1500 is the second most-lifted truck in our shop (after the F-150). Here are the lift kits we recommend most at American Fusion Wheels.
2-3 Inch Lifts (Daily Driver)
- ReadyLift 2" SST Leveling Kit — $250-$400 installed. Best leveling kit for Silverado. Fits 33s.
- Rough Country 3.5" Lift with Forged Aluminum Arms — $700-$1,000 installed. Fits 33-34 inch tires. Great value.
4-6 Inch Lifts (The Sweet Spot)
- Rough Country 6" Knuckle Lift — $1,000-$1,400 installed. Budget 35-inch clearance. N3 shocks.
- BDS 4" Suspension Lift — $1,500-$2,200 installed. Premium ride quality. Fox 2.0 shocks available. Our #1 recommendation.
- Fabtech 6" Performance System — $1,800-$2,500 installed. Dirt Logic 2.25 shocks. Excellent on and off road.
- Cognito 4-6" Suspension Lift — $2,000-$3,000 installed. Ball joint upper control arms for proper geometry. Excellent for towing.
7-12 Inch Lifts (Show Trucks)
- Rough Country 7.5" Lift — $1,800-$2,500 installed. Fits 37-inch tires. Statement build.
- BDS 6.5" with Fox 2.5 Coilovers — $3,500-$5,000 installed. Premium show/trail truck. Incredible ride quality despite the height.
- Full Custom 10-12" — $5,000-$10,000+ installed. Custom fabrication, extended brake lines, driveshaft work. The ultimate show truck build.
Silverado-Specific Tip
The 2019+ Silverado 1500 uses stamped steel control arms from the factory. Upgrading to forged aluminum or tubular steel upper control arms (Rough Country, Cognito, or BDS) is highly recommended with any lift over 3 inches — the factory arms do not handle the new geometry well and can cause ball joint wear.
